Joe Magnarelli

爵士乐 trumpet player Joe Magnarelli has been a jazz studies faculty member since 2011. Magnarelli has toured and recorded with Lionel Hampton, 杰克McDuff, Toshiko Akioshi, 雷Barretto, Tom Harrell’s big band, Harry Connick Jr., the Louis Hayes Quintet, the Marty Sheller Nonet, the Maria Schneider 爵士乐 Orchestra, 墙裙马罗尼, Rosemary Clooney, the Charles Davis Quintet, 行星爵士乐, Harry Whitaker, 小曼斯, John Pizzarelli, 马克·谢尔曼, 简Monheit, 唐Sebesky, and the Vanguard Orchestra. He has recorded six albums on the Criss Cross 爵士乐 label, one on Reservoir, and, in 2010, released 我的旧爱 on Give@Go Records. Following early performance experience on trumpet and guitar in church, Magnarelli attended Onondaga Community 大学 in Syracuse and was also the pianist and choir director at a local Baptist Church. He has led master classes and seminars in European conservatories and major U.S. 音乐学校.
